"Add AutoComplete capabilities to all your programs. LetMeType analyzes your typing and can intelligently autocomplete words typed in any program."
Program Pros
Program Cons
LetMeType helps you enter frequently-typed text strings. Running in the background in your system tray, it analyzes what you type. After a bit, it has collected enough information to guess a word after you have typed the first two or three letters. A list of the most probable words is displayed in a pop-up box. Select one with a single keystroke or just continue typing. LetMeType works independently of the program you enter the text into, be it a word processor, the editor of a development environment, or a dialog box field. It works best for long words or phrases that are often typed, making it well-suited for software developers and people who use a lot of technical terms. Options let you set the maximum number of suggestions and their frequency, limit the suggestions to long words with a high probability, and gradually increase the number of suggestions. During the 30-day evaluation period, you'll encounter three limitations: a nag screen and a short delay upon startup; a vocabulary limit of 100 KB, and the automatic removal of words that haven't been used for more than 14 days. | |||||||||
