kgpg is a simple, free, open source KDE frontend for gpg.

03-02-04	KGpg 1.1 released as part of KDE 3.2 (changelog). Due to a bug in KWin, when decrypting a file the passphrase dialog appears behind the konqueror window. Here is a quick fix.
18-04-03	KGpg has been moved to the kdeutils package ! It will be part of the official KDE 3.2
03-03-03	Kgpg 1.0.0 released.

The basic features of KGPG:

Editor mode enables you to type/paste a text and encrypt/decrypt/sign/verify it
Key manager: import, export, delete, sign, generate and edit keys.
Integration with konqueror (1): left click on a file to decrypt/verify it.
Integration with konqueror (2): right click on a file to encrypt/sign it.
Encryption: support for symetric encryption. Multiple keys & default key encryption. Optional shredding of source files
Signatures: creation & verification of detached & cleartext signatures
Drag & drop encryption + clipboard en/decryption

Requirements: KDE 3.0.x and GnuPG. Tested with GnuPG 1.06 /1.07/1.2.x
Keysever searching & importing and the use of photo ID's will only work with GnuPG >= 1.2.x

Currently on the wishlist:

add support for --refresh-key option
make copy-paste possible from key properties dialog
fix decryption fo "for-your-eyes-only" files
add more key servers to the default config
port KGpg to gpgme
signing/verifying of the clipboard
