Geeko Wants You!
The openSUSE project is a community program sponsored by Novell. Here are only a few examples of how you can participate in openSUSE and help with its development.
Influence Development
openFATE is the new openSUSE feature and requirements management system. Discuss and vote about features for the next openSUSE releases. Participate in mailing lists or regular IRC meetings discussions to follow the open development process closely.
Testing Factory
Thanks for testing this development release! Please report bugs, submit enhancements requests, or provide patches in Novell's Bugzilla, the openSUSE bug tracking system. Test daily Factory snapshots or for the date of next milestone release look at the roadmap.
Translating
openSUSE is a world wide community, and the world has many languages. Translating distribution and wikis to other languages is just as important as developing programs.
Build Service & Contrib Repository
The openSUSE Build Service is an open and complete development platform to compile, release and publish software packages for a broad user audience. The Contrib repository is becoming the universal community-driven repository for third-party packages.
Have a lot of fun!
