KDE Utils Freeze Status

The following is the status of each application with respect to the upcoming freeze. Each application has a graph that corresponds to it's completion status. They are color-coded: Red means that some work needs to be done before it can be frozen. Yellow means that it is mostly done but needs some minor or trivial work. Green means it is ready for the freeze now.

If there is anything that needs to be here and isn't (planned API changes, for instance), let me know NOW!


Application: ark
Maintainer: Emily Ezust
Status: 95%
Notes:
  • Seems to be feature complete.
  • Is fully ported to the KDE2 API.
  • Seems like Emily merged in most if not all of Corel's improvements.

Application: kab
Maintainer: Mirko Sucker
Status: 50%
Notes:
  • While the adressbook library is feature complete, the default GUI is in a bad shape.

Application: karm
Maintainer: Sirtaj Singh Kang
Status: 30%
Notes:
  • Is not actively maintained.
  • Has not seen new features since 1.1.2 days.
  • Will be removed from kdeutils if no maintainer can be found.

Application: kcalc
Maintainer: Bernd Johannes Wuebben
Status: 95%
Notes:
  • Seems to be feature complete.
  • Has been ported to the KDE2 API.

Application: kcharselect

Notes:
